Chronology
1917. Fleeing from starvation and war in Poland, Rebeca arrives in Brazil to reunite with her husband and start a new life. Contrary to the promises of happiness, however, the reality you find in Rio de Janeiro is completely different. She discovers that her husband is dead and ends up being held hostage by a large prostitution and human trafficking ring.
