I’m sure this film was made with great care and love, BUT what it lacks most in my opinion is breath. Opera singers learn to control their breath in order to captivate us. And I agree with the other less positive reviews that the opening scene was really a poor example of lip synching, especially because I couldn’t see Ms. Jolie breathing towards the picture in this film. This is one film that made me want to stop watching it! I missed the ending, and I’m sorry. I too had high hopes for these two iconic ladies.
