Chronology
The Maynards and their children lead an almost ideal billionaire family life. Amon is an avid hunter, but he does not shoot animals because the family’s wealth allows them to live completely without consequences.

Ayn Rand: It’s about who’s going to stop me?. Director Daniel Hösl and Juliana Niemann obviously have an interesting satirical take on the wealthy class, and while there are some good ideas, it feels unfinished and not as powerful as the film thinks it is.
Many of the performances are solid, and some of the kids’ performances are a little weak
Throughout the film, the production design, camera work and color rendering are excellent and truly beautiful as they help capture the atmosphere and essence of the characters. The direction from Hösl and Niemann, while a bit cheesy, has a clear vision of what style and atmosphere he’s approaching.
Like there were some good ideas that didn’t really live up to their desired potential
The storytelling is a good concept, but unfortunately it’s not as strong as it seems, as the narrative is underdeveloped in some themes and the characters don’t seem interesting or compelling enough to connect with emotionally. There are certain moments that are shocking, stark and quite strange, and I understand where the filmmakers and their vision are coming from.
But she could be stronger
But it’s not entirely deserved, and the style is too much like something from Ruben Östlund or Michael Haneke. Overall it’s not bad as there are moments that really make me sad.
